Let me remind you that the purpose of an illustration essay is giving a bright example, which will prove the issue discussed in the essay. Topic for the illustration essay can be whatever you like, but make sure that you will be able to find a good example for it.
I can give you a short sample of the illustration essay. My topic will be a bit philosophical one. I would like to discuss the changes that can happen in our life and that can influence it dramatically.
I am sure it can happen with anybody. You just live your ordinary life. Perhaps it is planned for several years beforehand. You know what is going to happen with you tomorrow or in a year. Yes, a lot of people like planning and they do not like when something goes wrong; when the events do not correspond to their plans.
Still, you can do nothing with it, and it is better to take changes easy. I can give you one example of those unexpected things that can happen in one’s life.
I guess you have heard about famous basketball coach Clarence Gaines. He has always wanted to be a dentist, but some circumstances in his life led to the dramatic changes, and he became a basketball coach. His career lasted for 47 years, and I am sure these were not his worst years.
So, you see that although something goes not according to your plans, it does not mean it will be worse for you. Changes are always for better.
